Elangeni Neckpiece

Description

Our metal production forms part of a larger artistic research project that explores histories of metal guilds, metal production and beauty traditions in South Africa. We take pride in supporting artisanal metalsmiths and nurturing African economies. Our pieces are handmade, sentimentally crafted, and may contain original imperfections unique to each piece. Elangeni is named after Princess Nandi KaBhebhe Mhlongo. Each brass bread has been handcrafted and joined together as an ode to the aesthetic tradition of Nguni brass breads.
